Presenters: Mr. Daniel Foreman, Mrs. Sharlyn Peterson
Daniel Foreman is a Fellow Coordinator in the English Language Fellows Program, a U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs exchange program. Mr. Foreman is currently hosted by the Beijing Institute of Education. Before his fellowship, he worked at the American English Institute at the University of Oregon. He received his master’s degree in TESOL (English Teaching) from the University of Texas and has over seven years of teaching experience. He has interests in vocabulary teaching, autonomous learning, and assessment.
Sharlyn Peterson is a new Fellow in the English Language Fellows Program. Sharlyn is currently hosted by Qufu Normal University, where she is teaching English courses in the Foreign Languages College. She received her master’s degree in English Education from South Dakota State University. Over the last 25 years, she has taught English in American high schools, colleges, and correctional institutions. She has also worked with international English programs as a teacher, curriculum writer, and editor.
